Just So You Know..
The Dream, is claiming that his next album..."LOVE KING" will be his last. The Dream is dope, "Shawty is a 10" was an obvious hit record. But when "Falsetto, I Love Your Girl" and so forth and so forth and so forth came about was when I was like..."Shit..this fool is really dope." haha Only statement he has on this topic is..
“It is going to be [his] last bcuz, everybody is trying to ‘KILL THE DREAM!’” he said. “[The Dream is] the ONLY one that can end [his] career."
if your a fan like myself..last thing i'm trying to do is kill the dream. If anything i'd like to resuscitate it!
COOL STATEMENT.

ART
Dolores Olmedo's House (6 Inalambrica). Diego Rivera, one of Mexico's greatest artists, lived here the last two years of his life. In 1956, in gratitude and affection for Olmedo, Rivera created, along the outside wall of her house, a fantastic mosaic of tiles, shells and stones.

Nas' demo tape...
I consider this dude probably the best rapper of our lost generation out NOW. They mention him on top lists but they always put em' at #3 or even #7 like he hasn't paid dues or someshit.lol.
He's straight out from the 2pac, Biggie era. Those two names are enough said...he's the smart one that stayed the most away from the bullshit that was goin' on during those east coast west coast war times. Point is, i'm glad they released his first demo ever. Cool to hear stuff from the first steps...to where they're at now as rappers.
Favorite Songs thus far:
If Heaven Was a Mile Away
2nd Childhood
Smokin'
Poison
I Can

582 got together to establish a new world record...
The efforts at the National Indoor Arena in Birmingham, sanctioned by Guinness World Records, beat the previous record of 533 set by a group of U.S. drummers in 2006.
The record attempt was organised to increase awareness of multiple sclerosis and succeeded in raising £20,000 for charity.
Among the drummers was Don Powell, of 70s glamrockers Slade. He said: 'I was performing in Budapest on Sunday but I just had to get back here for this event, especially in my home town - it's amazing.'

..:Electrifying:..
"These extraordinary images reveal what happens when electrical surges pass through a metal board with a simple plant on top.
Photographer Robert Buelteman sends 80,000 volts through his flowery subjects and then literally paints photographs of the outcome.
In three awe-inspiring series, the 55-year-old uses roses, petunias, and even cannabis in mind-blowing detail to give an extraordinary view of ordinary plant-life."
Say whaaaaaaaat? TITE! lol

Damn...
After 25 years of the tragic Michael Jackson pepsi commercial..they finally released the video. It looked like a cool ass show, crazy to think it was just a commercial...has that classic tour vibe.
NEW Post-Apocalyptic "reality" show??
Discovery Channel is making this trippy show, which is more of a social experiment where the "survivors" have to rebuild/establish a civilization from the ground up. Should be interesting, i'll watch the first episdoe and see what's up.
From their website:
"In the first experiment of its kind, real people from a wide variety of backgrounds and skills will be challenged to rebuild their own civilization in a devastated world.
The test will take place in an isolated urban compound with no electricity from the grid, no running water, and no communication with the outside world."
